Rush of Komplete

Since co-founding Komplete Modular Solutions Ltd. in 2017, I haven't had a ton of extra time to attend any racing, forget about a NASCAR race on the other side of the continent.

This past weekend I was lucky enough to take a break in the action with my partner, Graham Schulte to attend the Monster Energy Cup race at Daytona International Speedway as a guest of long-time friend and former racer I worked for, Cole Pearn; now Crew Chief at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Growing up in a family all about motorsports, working in the industry, and racing motorcycles myself, I've had the racing bug long since I can remember.

I left working in the industry in 2007, concentrating on more "corporate" careers and racing superbikes on my own and just for fun.

A couple of years into the corporate lifestyle, I never thought I would ever be able to replace the feeling or rush I felt while heavily involved in racing. Admittedly, that was until now.

Being a part of launching Komplete just over two years ago has been a rush. A rush I haven't felt since racing.

This past weekend gave me a lot of time to reflect on the parallels; the teamwork, the challenge, the competition, the speed, and the list goes on. Believe it or not, there are a ton.

I'm fortunate to have found this rush again...
